This document (this "Disclaimer") applies to the Stockast application and to all services provided through it, including its accompanying websites (together, the "Service" or the "App"). The Service is operated by Yarin Zaks, a sole individual operator, Israel (the "Operator").
"Stockast" is the current name of the service formerly called "StockTok". It is the same service and the same operator; any reference to "StockTok" in the App, in documents, or in earlier materials is a reference to Stockast.
This Disclaimer forms an integral part of the Terms of Service and must be read together with them and with the Privacy Policy. The Hebrew version of this Disclaimer is the binding version; any translation into another language, including this English version, is provided for convenience only, and in any discrepancy the Hebrew version prevails.
1.1. Stockast is an informational and social content platform focused on capital markets. The Service includes, among other things: a social feed of short-form financial content created by users (videos, posts, and comments); communities, group chats, and direct messages; delayed market data; watchlists; a virtual (simulated) investment portfolio; a prediction game; educational courses; and user-configured price alerts.
1.2. The Operator does not hold a license under the Israeli Regulation of Investment Advice, Investment Marketing and Investment Portfolio Management Law, 5755-1995, and is not supervised by the Israel Securities Authority. The Operator is not an investment adviser, not an investment marketer, not a portfolio manager, not a broker or dealer, not an exchange member, not a trading venue, and not a fiduciary of any user, and it does not provide financial services of any kind.
1.3. No real transactions in securities or financial assets can be executed through the Service. The Service does not accept, hold, or manage user funds, and does not route trading orders to any party.
2.1. All information and content on the Service — including, without limitation, prices, rates, charts, market data, news, courses, user content, virtual-portfolio data, and the prediction game — is general information only. The information is not provided with regard to the particular data and needs of any person, and it is not a substitute for investment advice or investment marketing by a duly licensed professional, which takes into account the particular data and needs of each person, or for tax, legal, or other professional advice from a qualified professional.
2.2. Nothing on the Service, and no part of the information on it, is to be regarded as a recommendation, opinion, or advice to act in one way or another with respect to investment decisions, tax decisions, or any other decision. Nothing on the Service constitutes, on the part of the Operator, an offer, recommendation, endorsement, invitation, or solicitation to buy or sell any security or financial asset, or to adopt any investment strategy.
2.3. You bear sole and full responsibility for evaluating the information presented on the Service and for every decision — investment, financial, or other — that you make on the basis of the Service.
2.4. A concise notice reflecting this section is displayed persistently on Service screens that display prices, charts, or other market content.
3.1. Content published by users on the Service — including videos, posts, comments, community messages, predictions, and shared virtual portfolios — reflects the personal views and opinions of its authors only; it does not express the Operator's position and is not published on the Operator's behalf.
3.2. The Operator does not vet, verify, edit, or approve user content, whether before or after its publication, does not endorse it, and takes no responsibility for its correctness, accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness. The operation of automated content filtering, or the removal of content under the community guidelines, does not constitute review, adoption, or approval of any content that remains on the Service.
3.3. Users who publish content may themselves hold positions in the securities or assets they discuss, and may change those positions at any time and without notice. The Terms of Service require a user who publishes content concerning a security or financial asset to disclose a personal interest, where one exists; however, the Operator cannot verify each user's compliance with that obligation, and the absence of a disclosure must not be taken to mean the absence of a personal interest.
3.4. Users of the Service do not necessarily hold any license, training, or financial expertise, and no marking, badge, or metric in the App is to be regarded as confirmation of a user's qualifications or performance.
4.1. Market data on the Service (prices, rates, percentage changes, historical data, and other data) is obtained from third parties, including Finnhub, Yahoo Finance, CoinGecko, and Binance, including data on securities traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange obtained from these sources through symbol mapping. Timeliness differs by source and by asset: data for a few cryptocurrencies is received as a continuous stream and updates immediately, while data for stocks, indices, and all other assets — including the remaining cryptocurrencies — is received at intervals and is displayed with a delay. The Operator does not undertake that any figure displayed on the Service is real-time data.
4.2. The data is provided AS-IS, from sources the Operator believes to be reliable; however, the Operator does not warrant or guarantee its accuracy, timeliness, completeness, continuity, or availability, and it may contain errors, omissions, or delays.
4.3. Data displayed on the Service may differ from the official records of the exchanges or of the data sources. In any case of conflict between a figure displayed on the Service and the official records of the relevant exchange or source — the official records prevail.
4.4. On every screen where prices are displayed, the data source, delay status, update time, and currency code are displayed. Market data on the Service must not be relied upon as the sole basis for any action.
5.1. Past returns are no indication of future returns. (The binding Hebrew formula is: "אין בתשואות העבר כדי להעיד על תשואות בעתיד"; the customary English form is: "Past performance is not indicative of future results.")
5.2. This provision applies to every historical figure displayed on the Service — including historical charts, return data, statistics, virtual-portfolio results, prediction-game results, and user content presenting past performance.
6.1. The virtual portfolio on the Service is a simulation only: no real trading takes place in it, no real money is transferred to it or held in it, and it involves no financial risk.
6.2. Virtual-portfolio results are hypothetical results. They are computed on delayed market data as it was available at the time of each action (without hindsight), but they do not reflect commissions, management fees, taxes, bid-ask spreads, execution costs, liquidity, or market impact, and they do not reflect real-world trading constraints or the psychological aspects of trading real money.
6.3. Hypothetical results have inherent limitations, and virtual-portfolio results are no indication of the results that would have been achieved, or that will be achieved, in a real trading account. No representation is made that any real account will, or is likely to, achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
7.1. The prediction game on the Service is intended for entertainment and learning only. The points, rankings, and badges in the game are virtual only: they have no monetary value, they are not convertible, withdrawable, or transferable, and they cannot be realized in money or money's worth.
7.2. No consideration is charged for participation in the game, and no prizes of money or money's worth are awarded in it.
7.3. A user's prediction within the game, as well as success or ranking in the game, is not a recommendation, is not evidence of expertise, and is no indication of future results.
8.1. Investment in securities and financial assets involves substantial risk, including the possibility of a total loss of the invested principal. Capital markets are volatile, and prices may fall (or rise) sharply, rapidly, and unexpectedly. Certain assets — including cryptocurrencies — are characterized by especially high volatility and risk.
8.2. Nothing on the Service — including information, content, courses, tools, or data — reduces or eliminates this risk, and use of the Service does not assure profit and does not prevent loss.
8.3. That risk includes, among others: market risk; interest-rate risk; currency risk — including changes in the exchange rate between the shekel and an asset's trading currency, which affect the shekel value of a holding even when the asset's own price has not changed; liquidity risk; geopolitical risks; and risks relating to a particular company or a particular sector.
8.4. Regulation applicable to cryptocurrencies is developing and may change, including without prior notice; such a change may materially affect the value of these assets, their tradability, and the availability of services connected with them.
9.1. The Service and the information and data on it are provided AS-IS and AS-AVAILABLE. Although the Operator works to present accurate information, the Service may contain errors, defects, technical malfunctions, software failures, data inaccuracies, and interruptions of availability, and the Operator does not undertake continuous or error-free operation.
9.2. The Operator will act to correct material errors brought to its attention within a reasonable time. Errors may be reported through the contact channels set out in Section 10.
9.3. The Operator is not liable for any decision made, or any action taken (or not taken), in reliance on the Service or on the information on it. Detailed provisions concerning limitation of liability, including its scope and its exceptions, are set out in the Terms of Service, and they shall govern.
10.1. Operator of the Service: Yarin Zaks, sole individual operator, Israel. Contact: support@stockast.app.
10.2. Stockast is the current name of the service "StockTok". The change is a change of name and branding only: the same service, the same operator, and the same legal documents. Any reference to "StockTok" — in the App, on the stocktokapp.com website, or in earlier materials — is deemed a reference to Stockast.
10.3. This Disclaimer forms part of the Terms of Service of the Service; in any conflict between this Disclaimer and an express provision of the Terms of Service, the provision of the Terms of Service prevails.
10.4. Effective date: 1 August 2026. The Operator may update this Disclaimer from time to time, in accordance with the update mechanism set out in the Terms of Service.
